VOLUNTEERS:

SHARE maintains a volunteer unit that seeks to create a chapter in every major town in the country. At present there are over four hundred volunteers with an almost equal representation of men and women drawn from all walks of life. We foster local and international relationship. The fostering of international cultural co-operation takes the form of exchange of volunteers, information, documentation and experience in the areas of interest of SHARE.

To accomplish its purpose, including the provision of supporting services, SHARE also focuses its activities on diverse ways, as follows:

Encouraging symposia which provide for discussions of major issues through research activities. Arranging lectures by Sierra Leoneans and visiting Africanist scholars.
